RESULTS

Needs and problems have been identified in previous projects. Austria and Germany have a clear advantage over other countries. Especially compared to Spain, Greece and Italy.
In Austria there is a good system for cooperation between vocational training and companies. The system should be brought more into practice. To do this, there needs to be financial support for ensuring quality and monitoring the impact of workplace learning.
There must be a better system for vocational education in Germany. For this, the practical working people should improve their skills. Then their companies can look more appealing with workplace learning. Because the people help the trainees and learners. Therefore, they should have very good skills and share their knowledge. The new technologies are helping to shape workplace learning.
In Greece, the vocational education system has not been redesigned yet. At the moment, there are some weaknesses in their training system. One reason is the reputation of a vocational career. It is still weak in Greece. There are also only a few jobs. This is especially seen in private sectors. The system also has too small a reach.

STUDY PROGRAM

1. TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF WORKPLACE LEARNING APPROACHES

Project partners are developing new and creative programs. The programs are designed to train practical working individuals. These people work in areas of vocational training, general education, in business, as social partners, with public administrations.
There are several Erasmus+ projects. The projects are brought together. The most important thing is a larger target group. The target group can help to build more partnerships in the project. The partnerships should be created in the field of vocational education. Vocational education has workplace learning as its basis.

The target group includes these individuals:
x civil servants and technical staff of public administrations
x youth organizations
x social partners

x teachers and instructors
x trainers and instructors
x principals and principals
x businessmen and businesswomen

in institutions for vocational education
in institutions for general education
in companies

Participating organizations design the new training programs. They share the programs with key interested groups. These groups work on a local basis. This allows them to have more influence on working together and on learners.

There are several challenges in doing this:

x Examining the weaknesses of workplace learning and the need for a good workforce. Preparations must be made for this.

x Developing new and creative programs for workforce training.

x Testing and evaluating the programs for training

x Testing and editing the training programs for workers with very good skills

2. TRAINING AIDS FOR THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF WORKPLACE LEARNING APPROACHES

The project partners are developing new and creative training aids. They are aimed especially at practically working people. These people work in areas of vocational training, general education, in companies, as social partners, with public administrations.

Here are the same challenges as in the training programs.

3. PRACTICAL OVERVIEW FOR MONITORING, EVALUATING AND ENSURING THE QUALITY OF WORKPLACE LEARNING FOR PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL ABILITIES

The project partners are preparing a practical overview. This overview identifies important topics. The topics are assessed as missing and of concern by the partners in this project.
These topics are:

x Processes for monitoring for workplace learning for learners and for businesses. Also for local policies in development for education, employment and social cohesion.

x Processes for assessing learning outcomes and the impact of workplace learning.

x Assurance of the quality of the whole process of workplace learning.

These are the challenges:

x Designing and testing the practical overview for monitoring, assessment and quality of workplace learning.

x Revision of the practical overview

4. SCENE BOOK OF INNOTRAIN'S WORK AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO INTERESTED LOCAL GROUPS

The project partners create a scene book. The working method of the project is shown in the scene book in drawings. The partners follow this way of working. By doing so, they want to achieve certain results during the implementation and have a new impact on the target group.
The scene book can help to transfer the way of working to other European organizations. These organizations could also deal with workplace learning and vocational training in the future.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
